From signup to your first parsed JD in five minutes.
rejento reads one mailbox per workspace, parses every incoming JD and resume, ranks every candidate against every open job, and surfaces the ones worth your time. Setup is three steps: create an account, connect a mailbox, watch the first polling cycle.
1 — Create your workspace
Visit rejento.com/signup and enter your work email. We email a verification link; clicking it provisions an empty workspace and drops you into /onboarding to pick a mailbox.
2 — Nominate the mailbox we'll monitor
On the onboarding screen, type the address of an inbox you already own on your company domain — usually careers@, jobs@, hiring@, opportunities@, or a vendor distribution list. If you prefer a single dedicated mailbox, ask your IT to provision rejento@your-company.com on your existing email host first.
We never create mailboxes ourselves. We only connect via OAuth (Microsoft Graph for Outlook / Microsoft 365, Google for Gmail / Workspace) to read the inbox you nominate. Other inboxes on the same tenant stay private.
What permissions does the OAuth flow request?
For Microsoft: Mail.Read, Mail.Send (so we can send shortlist emails + interview invites back from the same mailbox), and Calendars.ReadWrite (for the Teams interview scheduler). Google asks for the equivalent gmail.readonly, gmail.send, and Calendar scopes.
3 — Run your first polling cycle
Once OAuth completes, you land on the dashboard with a green "Mailbox connected" banner. You can either wait for the next auto-poll (every 5 min on paid plans, hourly on Starter trial) or hit the Run a check now button in the top-right corner to fire one immediately.
What you'll see on the first cycle:
- Inbound emails classified — JDs filed into /jobs, resumes into /candidates.
- Every new candidate auto-scored against every open job; the top matches surface on the dashboard widget.
- A Next best actions card on the dashboard tells you what to handle first — strong matches to shortlist, stalled candidates to nudge, interviews to confirm.
4 — Next steps
- Turn on the daily digest. Settings → Daily digest. 8 a.m. summary of overnight work delivered to every workspace admin.
- Add a pipeline automation. /automations → New rule. e.g. "When a candidate hits 85% match, mark them Shortlisted."
- Invite collaborators. /team. Hiring managers + viewers can be scoped to specific jobs.
- Connect Slack / Teams / LinkedIn. Settings → Job broadcasting. Auto-post new JDs to your company channels.
